Well, I was going through a ton of different pictures from our trip, & I started a bunch on our other blog, and I lost most of it... So I have decided to share our love of animals on this one & the other important things on our other one... Reid & I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, we took a lot of pictures, everywhere we went so the kids could see too. Well, a picture is worth 1,000 words right;)I enjoyed the park above the other places I had been in San Diego, so I really wanted Reid to experience it too, and since we love animals so much, & we dont have to clean up their pooh, we enjoyed it very much!
We are not at the Park yet... I really enjoy watching my Dad with his horses, & this is their new baby, she is so cute, when we stopped a week later, on our way north, she was even bigger! & Reid tried to capture her & it scared her.
Anyways, this started the journey for us, and when we went to the Park there were lots of babies, there was a 6', week old giraffe.
There was also another Mommy due any minute! (Giraffe) There were baby Pelicans, the Dad was flapping his wings, & looking directly at the people who were intrigued with new life, such as our selfs. Reid thought he was too fat to fly, I later realized & had to laugh at us, that he was only trying to protect his young!
This other family has a new little girl, though it is a monkey, I am not sure what kind it is. Sure was fun to watch the Mom swinging with baby attached!
There were 7 lion cubs, sleeping with their lazy parents on & in a land rover in their habitat. Kids were asking their parents how they were going to get their truck back from the lions. Sometimes you could see the cubs playing, the parents would yawn and go back to sleep, so cute! There were new Flamingo's, & another bird that was in with the flamingo's, though I am not sure what kind it was. They have a lot of critters that join the park. There were a lot of Rabbits running around the Elephant habitat. We did not get too close, but we did get to see the baby Elephants too. They were pretty big for babies;) If I recall correctly these were the Asian Elephants.
I really liked feeding the Lorikeets, the first time I went to the park, (though I got poohed on) So I had to drag Reid there like an excited child. I think he enjoyed it too, he asked the lady taking pictures if he could take home the one that the others picked on. notice how he is favoring that one, and not letting the other one get the nectar. lol, we had a lot of fun!

This critter was interesting to me last time too, its called an Okapi.
In the cage next to this critter was a bunch of Vultures, & there was one that was watching through the fence & at every move it would make this awful noise and try to bite it through the fence, it was kind of funny.
The leopards & lions were across from a huge field full of gazzel & other critters of the sort. The leopards paced and paced!

I will post more later, I dont want to lose what I have, like last time, so I will be back ;)
